The owners have lovingly renovated their dream chalet "Base Camp". The large living area and kitchen/dining room with its interesting and original beams and architecture give the chalet its quirky character. The living room features a substantial rock-faced fireplace and overstuffed sofas so you can relax after your day on the slopes/sightseeing. It has a fully equipped new kitchen. Adjacent to the kitchen is a seating area for four and the home also has an eight place rustic wood dining table with surrounding windows.

Base Camp is only a short walk to the centre of the village, but is situated in a beautifully quiet and tranquil location. If you listen very carefully you can even hear the odd kiwi at night. This is a great place to star gaze the clear night sky surrounded by snow-clad mountains (in the winter) are breathtaking.
